Hello everyone! I am new to the Viper scene but have been in the car building business for years. On all of my Gen 1/2 Vipers the seal the hood that closes on for the heater box is smashed and distorted so I am now making replacements and would like to get feedback if anyone is interested. Thanks you!

I'm also interested. Though mine is still in excellent shape).... its probably just a matter of time before it starts to bother me. Would love to have a spare replacement for then.

Isn't that the purpose of the seal? To get smashed and distorted so it will... seal?
I can see the point in replacing it if it is torn, but if you put one on that doesn't get smashed and distorted, it's probably not... wait for it... sealing ;)

If it smashes down and does not return to shape then it is not giving a good seal or a seal at all. It needs to return to shape and my seal has a perforation so the air can escape and let it return when the hood is open.
interested depending on cost

Just working to develop more Viper parts for discontinued pieces. The seals are no longer available and can only be purchased by buying the heater box at $350-$450. We will be opening our vendor section in the next couple weeks. John Temple (770)722-2587 john@legendmustangs.com
