I've searched without result. Anyways, what is required to install a auto form hardtop? Soft top needs to be removed? If so is there a certain procedure to remove the factory soft top assembly? Do holes need to be drilled for the rear hardtop mounts?

you dont need to remove the soft top, it stays in situ, no holes need to be drilled, there is a mechanism that clips in down the sides and front, easy to fit, but needs a bit of minor adjustment as all cars are minutely different15825

Do they stock these tops or is it a build to order type of deal?

I ordered mine, you might put up an ask, might find a second hand one and repaint it

As SSSAMMM said, the first time you install the top you probably need to make an adjustment on the front latch but no other adjustments. The rear "hooks" sit into the convertible top mechanism in the round hole right behind the door and locks into place with a pull of the lever. Just be sure to align the pegs in the windshield VERY carefully first. The trunk must be up to latch the top and to put the convertible top cover in place. The top is pretty tight the first few times you use it. It is definitely a 2 person job. I love my top. Much cooler in the summertime and warmer in the winter. Quieter too. Steve, at Autoform, is a great guy and you will be very satisfied with the product. I did have to wait a while for the top for my 2003. It is one of the best things I got for my car - it really changes the appearance - and I got it with the rollbar from Autoform at the same time through JonB. Comes with a nice rack to store the top when not in use. I am totally satisfied and would buy from Steve again in a heartbeat. If you have any questions PM me.

Is the convertible top cover, part of the package or an extra from Autoform?

I've ordered the newer style that Steve is making at Autoform. I'm looking forward to getting it, hopefully it'll be ready before NVE2. Steve has been great to deal with, and I'm really looking forward to seeing how it's going to turn out.

Frog won't ship, however Frog will allow a buyer to setup shipping remotely. Shipping and crating is cost prohibitive to my line of thinking. Redx lives a a couple hrs from me, I looked into this in detail. I was going to drive down to Plano to buy it but then work got in the way unfortunately.

Steve at autoform is a class act for sure.

That is a great looking top. Might look good with a fangs logo decal on it.

Heres it being put to use, i really wanted the new style(or lemke style) whatever you may call it, but the old bubble top offers lots of headroom even with a helmet.

I really like the way your car looks with the TA styled spoiler and the hard top. I've got a TA styled spoiler coming with my top as well. I think both style of tops look good, but since I don't race my car I thought I'd try the new style. I think Steve said he's calling the new one the SRT-Flat Top. The Lemke's are not in production any more, so the Autoform top is the closest you can get if you want a new one in that style.

I was talking to steve in late 2014/ early 2015 regarding this top, he wasn't sure he was making one for production. Started looking for lemkes, they are out there but average price was 4k+. Member Vipaire hooked me up with a smoking deal on the bubble top, wasnt my first choice but i grew to love it. Hard to see in this pic but the spoiler matches very well(autoform ta carbon).
