Look forward to seeing everyone! Just sent my check in for the Brewery tour in Prescott and plan to get my monies worth!!!

For those that are not members (yet) or might not attend the entire cruise - consider stopping by the Gainey Ranch Cars and Coffee in Scottsdale. We'll be meeting there at 8 am and taking off for Prescott around 9:30. You will not be disappointed by the variety or quantity of cars there!!! Address: 8777 N Scottsdale Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85253

Are they reserving spots for us? In my experience, those who show up after 7:30 usually have trouble finding a spot to park.

It may in fact fill up early - and the usual start time is 8. I'm planning to get there about 7:45 and will try to scope out a Viper Corner.

I talked to David Crofford at C&C and they are starting to open at 7:00 am. It'll be easier to get all together if you're there by 7:00 am.

Details has been sent to your e-mail for the Saturday cruise. :drive:

Once the group leaves C&C what route will you be taking. Two cars plan to meet up with the group along the route. Are you still planning to leave C&C at 9:30 am?

Kristine and I will be coming to the C&C, but we won't be there in time for parking with the other vipers. We'll get there before the 9:30 departure time.

Hi WhiteSnake. I am coming from NW Glendale, so meeting along the route would work better for me than driving over to Scottsdale first. Once we know the route, can you let me know where you guys plan to meet up? I would like to meet along the route as well if I can. Thanks.

Hi AZSRT10, I live in Goodyear and will be going up the 303 to hook up with AZVIPER ( Rich) along the 303 and most likely we will join the group along the Lake Pleasant Pkwy. I have a call to Debbie to confirm the route. As soon as I confirm the route I will let you know and the time I will be leaving and where we will meet up. Barry

Well, unfortunately we won't be going after all. I've been battling the flu for the last couple of days and just can't seem to shake it.

Have fun and be safe!

AZSRT10,
The route to Prescott will go up the 17 to Carefree highway (74) then West to Wickenburg. I will be going up the 303 to meet azviper (Rich) at 9:40 a.m. at the Lone Mountain exit. We will then be driving over to I- 17 and up to 74 and will wait for the rest of the group on the 74 just west of the 17. We are estimating the group will arrive at our location around 10 a.m. We will be parked on the Northwest corner of I- 17 and 74. Just over the 17 overpass. Not sure if you are closer to I -17 or the 303. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow. Barry

Uh oh. In December I got my car officially certified by the city of Tucson as fast. I found out though now in Arizona, you can do traffic school every year instead of every 2. So that's kinda cool.

It was as little misunderstanding. The LEO thought I was being an ass when I blew by him and gave him a wave. He told me, "It looked like you wanted my attention, and now you have it." He gave me a warning for having a device connected to my windshield. He warmed up to me after I started the charm. ;)

Started the charm? When did you get that? Did you have a vide of me on your phone or something? : )

That's interesting he pulled you over for waving at him. I sometimes give cops a little nod or small wave. Sort of an acknowledgement. Just being courteous. And I didn't know it was illegal to have something attached to your windshield. I guess I can see why though.

I think if Ken showed the cop a video of you, he would have ended up in the slammer for sure.

Ken just being a smart A$$ ....... as usual. Those yellow vipers always causing trouble!

I'd post a pic of my better half passed out after the vodka/gin/whiskey tasting if she hadn't erased it. I didn't think it was possible to fall asleep in a Viper with the top down doing 75+mph???

Definitely a good pic though!

Haha! That's awesome. And FWIW, Emily falls asleep in he Viper too. She says she finds the snug seats and the crisp handling "soothing." Sucks for me though because I am stuck driving listening to whatever music I want and not having a conversation. But I manage to make it through. ; )

I didn't know that either; but, also, not surprised. I just looked it up. Item 12 is the exception to the rule. I guess that is why I see mirror mounts for sale for certain "safety and driver feedback" devices.

Safety monitoring and driver feedback is exempt it appears. Doesn't this include radar detectors because they alert you to the presence of emergency vehicles?
