I had installed a VEC 1 in my 1994. I didn't recognize any advantage. It's now removed. Has anyone found It effective in the GEN 1?

at this point even the vec2/3 has been long outdated with the sct avail.

The SCT tuner uses the ODB2 port.

If you get a good tuner that knows the Vec like Larry Macedo, you may see an advantage of 20-30 HP.

FL, but I mis-understood Vec 1 for 2. The Vec 1 is useless, get a Vec 2 and Larry can help you out.

Contact Dan Cragin,,, he has a tuner that will create a program for your ECU that will help with all areas of your cars performance,,,, after I did all my mods I had the computer flashed to match and it makes a big difference,,, you will be happy
