Just noticed this car with what looks like an aftermarket front engine strut/brace. Anyone happen to know where to get one?

Yep.....part of the blower kit on SC cars.

If you don't need this brace for a blower application, my guess is the factory unit is a much lighter and rigid unit.

Thanks for the information guys, we have some piping going through there for a TT setup and this would reduce space requirements. Only reason I thought of it.

Theb Paxton requires the stock crossmember be replaced with the relocation and tube stiffener. Step down from stock. Easy to make or buy a kit from Art Morrison for a track locator or custom order ...
Roe blower uses the stock crossmember

On a side note.....its definitely necessary to have some sort of brace there! I drove my car around the bock a couple of times without it installed and everything creaks and groans over bumps because of the flex. I was a little nervous about the windsheild!
