I am looking to get a passenger airbag switch from a 98-02 Gen II to install in my 97 GTS. I have a couple questions I was hoping someone might be able to help me with regarding the switch.

1. Are the switches keyed to match the car? Or will any key fit to turn the switch off?
2. Can someone scan or post a picture of the wiring diagram for the airbag circuit from a 98-02 showing the switch?

I use my ignition key for the switch, not sure if any key will do the same. I will check mine tomorrow.

I have a spare switch (no key, came with a dash I bought). Are you wanting pics of the back or what?

I would like to see a scan or picture of the wiring diagram from the Viper service manual. I want to compare the wiring with the switch to the 97 wiring diagram I have which does not show the switch.

A picture of the switch and/or connectors would not hurt so I can ensure the 97 has the same connectors behind the dash.

I do not plan on mounting the switch in the dash, because i want to keep the smooth dash that is in the 97. I am planning to lengthen the wires on the switch and then mount the switch somewhere else. Probably under the dash somewhere I can access somewhat easily.

I have a spare passenger airbag switch & key from a 98 RT/10. Tested good in my 01' GTS. Any viper key turns it on off........They are not keyed.

$20 Shipped and I'll include the car-side connectors.
