I know this has been discussed in the past but I'm not sure we came to a consensus. What is the actual wheel weight for the fronts and backs? No tire. Thanks!

I haven't seen anyone dismount and weigh these yet, too new. But, based on weighing a lot of other wheels, I'd estimate that a rotary forged barrel with cast aluminum spoke construction should weigh mid 20s. Here is a 19x9.5 Forgestar (same construction type and material) for comparison. The Sidewinder 2 wheels are also similar construction, and are very similar in weight to the Forgestars. Usually, each inch extra in width adds about 1 lb more.
19x9.5 = 24.5 lbs
19x11.0 = 26 lbs +/- 1 lb (estimate)
19x13.0 = 28 lbs +/- 1 lb (estimate)

According to JonB
19x11" Front: 26.0 Lbs
19x13" Rear: 27.8 lbs
Heavier duty due to the downforce. I assume this means a wheel like sw2 could damage at high speeds....so a lighter wheel on acr is not necessarily a good idea.

Damn I'm good :)
Also, lighter doesn't mean weaker. Forged 6061 billet wheels are lighter, and stronger. Forgeline GTD1 in the factory ACR sizes are 20.5 lbs front, 21.25 lbs rear.

Just weighed the rear wheel out of the box on our scale 26.5# No fronts at this time sorry.
Forgeline is predicting 21-22#

Sounds good. The GTD-1 can take the ACR downforce though I'm assuming.

It has been approved for racing with that kind of down force according to the head guy there.

It is a much, much stronger wheel than the factory cast wheel. Let me illustrate why pro race teams use it. :)

Has anyone thought of using the original sidewinder that came with the gen IV ACR?
I want a simple wheel design, the sidewinder II look bad ass but look like a bitch to clean!
I have yet to see the old sidewinder on a gen V viper.....

That is because the Gen 5 has a different wheel width and offset requirement up front. The Gen 5 body is wider on the nose, and the ACR uses a wider 11.0 front wheel. If you put a Gen 3-4 wheel on a Gen 5, they will tuck in too far, about 0.5" too much. It will fit, just look awful.

For reference, Gen 5 Sidewider II's weigh:
Front- 8357 grams= 18.4 lbs
Rear- 10396 grams= 22.9 lbs
I weighed them myself on a scale that is accurate to the gram...
