Very much photoshopped. I believe that is a pre-production pic from a long time ago.

Actually, this looks very similar to what I thought was a SnakeOyl CF wing. I can't mention a name yet due to a reveal they plan to do, but a customer was having a GenV modded and has this very spoiler on it. When I asked where it was from, they I believe they mentioned SnakeOyl made it.

Anybody in Norcal want to bring their G5 by over the next few weeks I can adapt one of my ACRX wings to fit the profile of the G5 decklid

I have done so for the G2 GTS's already and they work like crazy

I think Austin did that PS about a year ago Andy. He had some better ones too

After examining the hatch of the Gen 5 at the SRT All Access a couple weekends ago, I found the hatch to be very, very light and you could easily flex it side to side when open. Does anybody know if the deck area will be strong enough to mount the wing or will it need to be reinforced to handle the added stress of the wing at speed?

I've heard second hand that Ralph says the rear hatch is designed for a wing. If you open the Gen 5 hatch you'll see two recesses, one on each side. This is supposedly for the attachment points for a wing.

This is one of several reasons why I think the ACR is close. Once that comes out, everyone will want that wing.

I love my ACR; but from that angle the wing just doesn't do it on the Gen V. Maybe from different angles it would look better.

ACR wing will probably resemble the GTS-R wing and not this photoshop.

Personally, I wouldn't put a wing on my (soon to arrive, hopefully !) viper, but they serve a purpose. Have you considered this (http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/2013_Dodge_Viper_body-aero-kits-rear-bumpers-c-4218_8192.html?Dodge_Viper_2013&c8=22&c9=26815&r=186 )

Someone should have these guys fit one of their dynamic movable wings to a Viper. I was going to have them do it to my Gen 3 when I lived in Boston but then I moved to CO.

Problem is, si that their wings don't look that great and you can't use them for racing - i.e. "no active aero allowed"

I run the Cannonball One Lap of America and their wings are legal for that event. :)

Good guy to listen to, as 09 ACR has only run the Cannonball One Lap around 15 Times, so he is an Encyclopedia on the event!!!
