Get your Viper in the fast lane at the Viper National! Our last Quick 30 drag racing event was a hit. More Vipers than Corvettes showed up so we decided to do something special for the group. The VN is private event not open to the public and is your chance to 1/4 mile drag race with your friends in a 100% Viper-centric environment. Since the VN is private, you will be able to make your passes in a relaxed environment without large crowds in the bleachers spectating. At the VN you will be able to make single lane passes, grudge passes, and compete in the classes outlined below. If you have been to our drag racing events before you know we will stay on top of track prep from start to finish so that you can click off your best times. ET slips will be printed after your passes and the ET/MPH lights will be operational.

Basic VN details:

Where: Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown, Texas.
When: Sunday February 14th, 2016 from 10am-5pm
Type: 1/4 drag racing
Classes: (1) Normally aspirated “n/a” (2) 5th Gen and (3) Unlimited
Schedule: Test and tune and speed indexing from 10-12pm. Lunch (probably pizza) and non-alcoholic beverages at noon. At this time drivers wanting to compete in a class can opt into the class. At around 1:30pm we will start running classes until closing around 5pm. Please note that if a class is too large we may truncate the class members.

Nice if my car build would be ready before the event i might sign for it , i would be travelling overseas so if i signed for the event can my friend that's travelling with come to the event ? Or is it restricted to only the 40 drivers and voa members ?

The flyer you posted says "Viper Club of America". Is this a VCA event or a VOA event? If a VCA event, why are you posting it here on the VOA site? Many of us feel the VCA let down the Viper nation. There seemed to be a lot of questionable tactics they followed. That's why there is a VOA.

Heads up. We have some drivers that will be bringing in other Dodge platform cars, like Hellcats. Our sponsors want to accommodate as well since they work on other Dodge platforms. The classes will not change though. If a non-Viper vehicle wants to compete their class will be the Unlimited Class. If you have any questions, please email or post up.

I took mine out in the BEAMING SUNSHINE today for a tear around town, it was a hoot. I was just driving to my son's wrestling tournament an hour ago and saw a Gen I on the road...it was 39F. Brave dude.
