Stryker green ACR-E almost done - Decision time - Hive opinions?

Well the Stryker Green ACR w/ red driver's stripe, which some said would violate sensibilities... (we're Viper people, who has senses...) is almost done... so its time to decide...

Arrow heads, cam, and exhaust package or not?

If so she can go back to Prefix for engine removal, and Arrow for the work...

Is it worth it? Would you all do it again?

If there was ever a more perfect time to pull the engine- now would be the ideal time. Everything is new, everything is perfect.

If it was my car I wouldn't want to get the car- drive it around a while and then have to give it up for mods.

Thanks! Actually that is exactly what I wanted... something to look like a green mamba... As a kid/teenager I wanted to be a herpetologist, LOVED snakes and running through swamps collecting them.

I wanted the car to look the most reptile-like and "viperish" as possible... and I think it does!

You know in the animal world, brightly colored reptiles are so colored to warn other animals how dangerous they are. It is prey that tries to blend in and not be seen. Venemous, deadly reptiles usually announce it to the world. So, I feel the color choice is fitting.

I wish I had a gen V and could make recommendations on the arrow stuff. Without having one, I still say do it. But unfortunately I don't have first hand experience.

Yep, Stryker green ACR-E and Sublime Hellcat! We kinda see colors the same, can't wait to see them side by side... I'll say I had a hard time choosing, and had to fight to get Stryker green, and especially the red stripe... but I almost chose Comp blue, and when my wife saw Stryker Red at the factory tour, it was almost over... LOL

Awesome looking car. I really like the Stryker colors but yours is really cool with the stripe combo. I don't have a Gen5 either but I've been looking at cars and debating on moving up to a Gen5 before spring gets here. I've also been talking to a few different shops about mods on the Gen5. Arrow heads and cam?....call around to the various shops that have posted here on the forum and give them your budget and see what your options are. Pretty cool that there are so many options opening up for the Gen5.

No the ACR wing will be the black carbon fiber with just the red driver's stripe... I believe that is how they all are unless you get GTS stripes, and then they paint the wing and put the dual stripes on...

My understanding is the warranty stays in place but the engine warranty drops to 1 year. Stunning choice, shouldn't draw much attention ;)

Well decided to do ARH headers and exhaust... and Stage 1 Arrow Controller.
I'll keep the 5 year 60k warranty... that's good news to me... I'll never use this much car anyway...

Pics... she's all done... they said they were all stunned at the final result... much more beautiful that anyone thought it was going to be... and several said it was their favorite...

My family, dealer, Dodge (initially refused to do it), and lots of board people did too, so you had good company. But I love the end result, and my dealer was on the phone as it unloaded, and he couldn't even talk between the stutters and ooo's and ahhh's... I guess the dealership ground to a halt for an hour or two...

It seems to either elicit strong desire or passionate hate (LOL) just the way a supercar should! The vast majority love it now that its a reality.

LOL, I emailed them about that too... as they are delivering the car on Wednesday.

Supposedly their system auto populates Ebay and they thought the switch was off when it was brought into inventory, but it wasn't.

I emailed their online dept. and told them they were selling my car... my salesman was on it instantly and said it was a mistake and would be corrected asap.

Still funny... finally get to see it tomorrow. Coming down in covered transport.

I'm I the only one who thinks its way uncool to use someoenes custom car in your ebay ad? And I think a lot of dealers use stock photos because they aren't selling that particular car, just trying to tell you that they can sell the viper. Confusing and inappropriate if you ask me.


Back on topic, I think this thing came out awesome. Though I understand the initial reluctance. Way to push for what you wanted becaus the result speaks for itself.
