You cant get ACR seat belts in a non-ACR.

For your car you can have stock black or you can option the red for $300. Does red seat belts go with the rest of your car or not? Its that simple. Don't select it just because its an option or you will end up with a blue car with green stripes with a black interior with red seat belts or something like that. haha!

Do you want a black gas cap? Full TA cars come with this stock now. The half option TA cars don't and you pay the $300 bucks for the "satin black appearance package".

What dealer are you going through? If I were to order a 1 of 1 right now, I would go through one of the big dealers (Tomball, Woodhouse, Roanoke ) who knows those things inside and out because otherwise it can be a bit of a minefield and you would hate to tell the dealership you want the TA 2.0 package and just get the appearance package or vice-versa. Also, it seems there are little idiosyncrasies like one package cancels out another package and I would want to be sure I was talking to someone who could recite that stuff in their sleep to make sure I got exactly what I wanted.

I'm not buying one right now so I haven't studied the order forms super hardcore, but for reasons exactly like your question, I would call one of the big dogs who does tons of 1 of 1 cars. JMO.

Best of luck and post up what your final decisions are. It's always fun to see what people go with on 1 of 1s.

This is good advice. Just call Bill P at Woodhouse, and order the car from him. He's forgotten more than most of us will ever know about these cars, and will give you a square deal.

They can get demonic or header red seat belts. I agree with no ACR belt.

You are ordering from someone that doesn't know what they are doing.

That's what I mean by go with one of the big dogs who does scads of these. I would hate for the tinyest detail to be off. And I'm sure it would cost more to make it right than make sure it's right the first time.

Personally I think paying $300 for a different color seat belt is ridiculous! I never understood why someone would even want something like a seatbelt to stand out.

Belts are $350 and not sure who mentioned they would be $300? You have a choice of the black or Demonic Red , as the ACR belt is the Header Red. Those are your two choices and would be happy to go over all the other options available to you with a one of one. Satin Black cap is 300, but for 400 you can get decals/badging changed over to match the cap , also.

So they can find it more easily?

lol, if you can't find you're seat beat I'm not sure you should have a drivers license! If they offered a tracking devise/app to make it easy to find you keys when they're lost I might by $300 for that.

Good question, didn't Porsche start this practice?

350 , not 300, for the pleasure of contrast in the interior ------- depending on car color and interior color , it can add some pop to the car. Of course it is a personal taste item, some love it and others are not crazy about it, but I for one am glad to have the ability to give folks lots of choices. Correct in that Porsche does do this - not uncommon to see the yellow calipers ( Ceramics ) on a Twin Turbo and yellow belts in the car.

I have a ACR with the drivers side red stripe, the red band on the steering wheel, red deviated stitching and red drivers side wing upright. OHHHH and yes, red seat belts to match all the other red on and in the car.

I dig contrasting seatbelts. It adds to the race look of the car, lest we forget this thing is a race car with a couple edges filed off of it. It's not a Camry. Again though, it's a personal choice and it's cool you have the option to do exactly what you want.

And if I had to guess, it's more expensive because it deviates from the standard which means the part costs more per unit because they order less of them, it takes the person building it longer to go get the other color and install it and it takes a QC person longer to check and make sure it is the right color...and it's 350 dollars instead of 200 because they are trying to make a profit. If I had to guess. Just my thought though.

Question... what is the difference between Demonic Red and the ACR Header Red seatbelt...Does the ACR say ACR on the belt and is the shade of red a little different..? lighter or darker ??

I talked to Viper concierge today, and asked about seatbelts... no there is no ACR writing on any seatbelt... just two different shades of Red... one Demonic (to match Demonic interior) and one Header red... they were even surprised that anyone was calling one or the other an ACR seatbelt. Same belts, different colors of red....

One is actually called the ACR belt to differentiate it from the other red belt on the order process, and the main individual running the Concierge Service is very aware of this, so you might have chatted with a new individual. No big deal, and the Concierge system is working super well, with lots of solid compliments from those who have ordered. The process was installed on the Dealer Connect system for Dealers to alleviate confusion on the two different reds , as these kinds of issues have caused mistakes in the past ( think of the Viper Red and Venom Red confusion in 2008 , when many Dealers ordered the wrong color for their clients ). The red shade on the ACR is to match the stitching, whereas the Demonic Red belts are to match the red seat interiors.

If you happened to order the red ACR driver's stripe and get the red stripe on the steering wheel you will match that color with the Header Red seat belt AKA the ACR seat belt.
