I am wondering how the other 2016 Gen V's are doing. Recently, all I see on the forum is those members that are purchasing the ACR-E. Prior to the ACR-E (2015 models) there were a lot of comments with the SRT/GT/GTS purchasing...not anymore.

The ACR is the new girl in the high school. All the cool kids are only talking about her, on top of that she's dayum sexy and a helluva lay, so ..... yea.

I don't know when we could see figures on sales by model, like non ACR sales. One of our vendors might know.

I'm very keen on knowing 2015 MY numbers by models and colors. The whole MY might be a 1 of 1 type of thing. :)

It was very hard for me to decide whether to go ACR (really 1 of 1 with ACR packages) or get a GT on the lot. It came down to cost and expected use. I didn't think I would spend that much time (or at all?) tracking it and the GT (I am picking up on Sunday!) was basically 25% less.

Granted, I should have at least a year to track it and decide if I want to upgrade later. ;)

From reading all the recent posts, I definitely feel like the minority.

Hey, that's cool...makes complete sense to me! I think you made the right choice based on how you plan to use the car. I don't think you would enjoy the ACR as much...not really designed to be a GT car. Besides, any Gen V model is phenomenal. Post up some pics when you bring her home! Congrats in advance!

I went with a GT myself that was on the lot so I can get a phenomenal deal on a phenomenal car!! ACRs are very nice and I love a lot of things about them but that wing will always keep me away from a ACR. You've made the right choice...

I LOVE the new ACR(s) and think they have provided an awesome shot in the arm to we , the Viper community and re-captured the King of the Hill status within the automotive world. That said, when I buy my next new Viper, it will likely be a GTC 1/1 (likely rare color combo with TA 2.0 package) as I think it provides the best fit/mix for my use, so I suspect (hope) there will still be more buyers of new 2016/17 cars above/beyond the ACR purchases (even though the excitement of the ACR specifically might ignite the passion for the purchase/build)... Great time to be a Viper enthusiast!

We have done a bunch of ACRs, but Track Pack is also right on the mark with the idea of a GTC with the TA 2.0 Option Package. We have done quite a few of these also, and it seems many current Viper owners like the idea they can get a special look and it comes right from the factory ---- definitely cutting down on the cosmetic mods we do when here, though still doing plenty of performance mods.
