Black Friday is not simply a big sales day for retailers but it's a spectacle. It brings out the stupid and there's just never enough stupid on black friday.

Funny (if that's the word) is, it's not as good a bump for the economy as it used to be or how it got its name. It's more a spectacle of the darkness of the human heart.

Yet it continues. Even though there will be sales again in a couple weeks. And many places honor prices more than a day. Offering a couple ultra low priced items to get a few hundred people in line to fight like the world is coming to an end is dispicable.

Too much emphasis put on stuff this time of year anyway. I would rather hang out with my family on Christmas playing guitar with no gifts for or from anyne than subject any one of us to this kind of behavior for a TV or in some cases, a g*d Damn crock pot. People are physically fighting over a crock pot. Welcome to rock bottom.
