This is also a +1 for JonB
My grandmother passed last week and her funeral was on Tuesday. I took my Viper, because it is all I drive when it isn't raining or snowing. 100 miles away. Stopped at my mothers house before the chapel.
Driving to the chapel, I hit something in the road. I noticed a loud "thud." 15 minutes later as I pulled into the chapel, I was down to 24PSI. After the services, I was in the single digits. Managed to get it to a service station, up to 32psi and back to my mothers house. Out of options I filled it up with the fix a flat in the rear.
At lunch afterwards with the rest of the family, my brother and my mothers bf also have flats. Same front tire.
Now conspiracy starts that "someone slashed our tires" (There is some contention going on with my uncle and the rest of the family, obviously because why wouldn't there be!).
So when I get home, I review the dashcam footage, find exactly where I ran something over. Brother goes and finds what looks like pieces of a pallet in the road. Nails, etc. Without that, my mother probably would have gone off the deep end.
I emailed JonB at the lunch, called him 30 minutes later at 255 - and at 230 the next day I have both replacement fronts sitting at my doorstep. (Replaced both due to treadwear to be safe)
Thanks Jon!!
