This is also a +1 for JonB

My grandmother passed last week and her funeral was on Tuesday. I took my Viper, because it is all I drive when it isn't raining or snowing. 100 miles away. Stopped at my mothers house before the chapel.

Driving to the chapel, I hit something in the road. I noticed a loud "thud." 15 minutes later as I pulled into the chapel, I was down to 24PSI. After the services, I was in the single digits. Managed to get it to a service station, up to 32psi and back to my mothers house. Out of options I filled it up with the fix a flat in the rear.

At lunch afterwards with the rest of the family, my brother and my mothers bf also have flats. Same front tire.

Now conspiracy starts that "someone slashed our tires" (There is some contention going on with my uncle and the rest of the family, obviously because why wouldn't there be!).

So when I get home, I review the dashcam footage, find exactly where I ran something over. Brother goes and finds what looks like pieces of a pallet in the road. Nails, etc. Without that, my mother probably would have gone off the deep end.

I emailed JonB at the lunch, called him 30 minutes later at 255 - and at 230 the next day I have both replacement fronts sitting at my doorstep. (Replaced both due to treadwear to be safe)

Thanks Jon!!

Jon used to include additional free items with orders. Maybe a T-shirt, a little keychain Viper light, a cool sticker the like. But honestly, sending an adorable little girl along is just too much!

Condolences regarding your Grandmother. At least your little one got to spend some time with her.

Very sorry to hear about your grandmother, my condolences.

Did you use the emergency repair kit in the car, or use fix-a-flat goo from the store? These tires are huge. When I get my new set mounted in the spring, I'm going to have to borrow my friend's minivan to get them to the dealership, because they won't fit in my Dart!

Yeah the kit in the car. The air works well without the fix a flat. I probably could have just had it patched, but there was no where to reliably get it done where I was.

Thankfully our 'beater' is a Rav4, so all that will fit in it!
