I am a multiple Ram SRT-10 owner, I have had 4 now, and picked up another one in August with a blown engine. Here is my journey of bringing it back to roadworthiness so far.

http://i1275.photobucket.com/albums/y451/VPRPWRD/ABS%20Hot%20Rods/IPHONE%20149_zpsancxdmj8.jpg (http://s1275.photobucket.com/user/VPRPWRD/media/ABS%20Hot%20Rods/IPHONE%20149_zpsancxdmj8.jpg.html)

Pulled the transmission first which I now have down to a science and can have it on the ground in under an hour.

Clutch is in decent shape but will be replaced with a new one.

http://i1275.photobucket.com/albums/y451/VPRPWRD/silver%2004%20build/IMG_20291_zpspf5ezizr.jpg (http://s1275.photobucket.com/user/VPRPWRD/media/silver%2004%20build/IMG_20291_zpspf5ezizr.jpg.html)

With the transmission out we found the rear main seal had been leaking for quite some time, also found a flywheel bolt snapped off in the crank.

Inner fenders removed, exhaust manifolds off, A/C system evacuated, radiator drained and everything removed from in front of the engine. It's time to rip it out of there. :D

Engine disassembly started shortly after removal and for 92k miles, this engine was very clean inside!!

The only damage was to the cylinder wall where the valve seat dropped in this picture:

http://i1275.photobucket.com/albums/y451/VPRPWRD/silver%2004%20build/IMG_20411_zpsbheopdx3.jpg (http://s1275.photobucket.com/user/VPRPWRD/media/silver%2004%20build/IMG_20411_zpsbheopdx3.jpg.html)

After removing and disassembling the engine I took a ride to Long Island and met with another VTCoA member and took some engine blocks off of his hands, just in case my block wouldn't be re-usable or for a future project.

Ray Barton Racing engines did the machine work for me which included installing a new sleeve, a slight cleaning up of the other cylinders which resulted in a 4.035 bore and supplied me with the diamond pistons and molnar rods for the rotating assembly.

This is what I was greeted by as I pulled up to the shop. Drag Pak Challenger in the enclosed trailer.

He mainly specializes in Hemi builds but does a fair amount of Viper work, hence the reason one of these blocks is not like the others:

A couple cars hanging out in the shop, the white challenger is the fastest Drag pak car in the country, runs 8.70s with Viper power:

I believe Andy sold this truck like a year ago. If you have any interest in a silver RC I have one for sale right now. I have it listed over on the VTCOA titled "FOR SALE". I do already have a couple people possibly interested but first come, first serve. Mine has 26,300 miles on it, not a spec of rust anywhere, never see's rain or snow, and has some very tasteful yet minor upgrades. Interior still smells new.
