2015 Viper TA 2.0 + Nth Moto TT Build

Well it's almost finished and like the title says, my good friends over at Nth have been working on my TA 2.0. I can't say much more other than what a fantastic job the guys there have done. I've known Aaron for years and we had this planned long ago. I won't go into much details, but I imagine specs will be getting out soon enough.

Soon enough, I am sponsoring the WGF half mile event in Ocala come January. Will be a fun event and a chance to open her up.

Martin, you probably won't want to run a Twin Turbo Viper around a road course, especially ones sized to make bigger power. In my experience with turbo cars in the past, the turbo lag/spool upset the balance too much. Granted, anti-lag and no lift shift help, but for as much throttle modulation is done on the track, I wouldn't necessarily want something that violent in a road course. I also imagine the heat exchanger will block some airflow to the radiator, which might not be a huge issue for most street cars, but on the track, that would not be ideal. Just my $0.02

I don't see why a TT kit could not be tailored to an application specifically dedicated to the track. It's certainly not out of the question.

I didn't say it was impossible, just not ideal for road course racing. Again, just my $0.02, not in any way trying to take away from your thread. I've met the Nth Moto crew at TI, they are great craftsmen with attention to detail and happy to see them with a Gen V build.

Nothing is impossible in this viper market and I have complete confidence Nth can make it happen. Now I'm half tempted to take mine to Road Atlanta! Ha

They're not going to give their secrets away. I highly doubt anything was cut, that's not Nth Moto's style.

I sent my viper to them with literally 250 miles on the odometer with only a clearbra and window tint, so yes they built the engine and everything. I believe they even left some of the factory plastic on the interior of the car. LOL

Well I figured i would update the thread given i have put a few miles on the viper with the TT after the build and I can tell you I am blown away by what Nth Moto has done with my viper. The quality and craftsmanship of the parts are far superior on anything i have ever seen, the engine bay is a work of art. The exhaust note at WOT screams, the functionality of the electronics are unreal, the A/W IC is truly impressive. The spool of the turbos on a viper is something impressive in its self, but what the guys at Nth have done is surreal. It sounds like a spaceship taking off(Not Kidding).

I have owned a few vipers prior, along with other vehicles well known for their performance, but i can say this exceeds any vehicle i have ever owned. Every friend of mine that has recorded a video of my viper thus far, can be found giggling like a kid in the background.


I have been waiting to post up my thoughts/feedback after this weekends WannaGoFast event in Ocala, but I figured I would at least mention a few quick highlights of what i have fallen in love with right off the bat. I will be sure to post a ton of videos and additional feedback as this weekend progresses at the half mile.


I know were very fortunate with the options out there to feed our addictions for more power & speed. This is my very first vehicle of mine Nth Moto has ever built, and i can tell you it wont be my last. It truly was a pleasure dealing with Aaron and the guys at Nth from beginning to end. If anyone is looking to add a simple part or TT's, i suggest you call Nth and speak to Aaron. I have learned so much over these past few months, truly thankful for them building me my dream car.

I also had a chance to inspect the workmanship up close and in person, and every single aspect of it looks OEM. It could easily be mistaken for rolling out of the factory in its current configuration -- it is an amazing work of art paired with consummate performance.

Well things have settled down since the half mile and I was able to put some more miles on the viper.

Recap of the WGF event;
The first day of the race was not great conditions, but it was nice enough for us to hit the streets and get some logging in. With only having about 500 miles on the odometer, we really needed to get some more miles on the viper and get everything in tune & logged. Obviously, getting to know the viper would help given I didn't have much seat time.

Sunday is when the conditions were much better and we could get things dialed in. I can tell you it was not turned up to its max, and I was trying to find the sweet spot on the throttle in each gear with TC on.

It really is amazing that I was still on the 19" sidewinder wheels with just NT05r's. I was highly impressed that the viper pulled strong in every gear and was able to 195.xx in the standing half mile in its very first outing. With literally only 6xx miles on the odometer and the plastic still on the dash, it hauls ass but looks completely stock.

I have a few other tweaks to the viper moving forward, but in its current state it has 200mph in it all day. As spring hits, I will be hitting the drag strip with friends to get some seat time in for the 1/4 record ��
