We think we've come so far, but most modern cars couldn't do the 45 or the hill at those speeds, and most SUVs would probably fare worse on the off road section :smilielol:

I bet this is why my Dad made sure my first car was a Plymouth... I beat on that Duster over and over again... It just kept on going... Yes the Duster was just about bullet proof except the body rust issues. Slant 6 I believe and of course the V8 318 was the most reliable engine ever built.

Wasnt in Michigan. Look up Worlds Fair. It was a massive autoshow, tech show, trade show, industry show, electronics (like the new fandangled TVs) show, etc thing. Companies erected huge facilities just for this as there was millions of people coming through and the companies then had huge financial abilities then. I believe that one was Chicago but that could have been NY too.
