Mark Pfeffer at MVP Tracktime has a 3-day track event planned for January 31- February 2. at

CIRCUIT OF THE AMERICAS in Austin, Texas (not a typo...!!!)

There are a couple openings left and I wanted to let other viper track heads know before it goes public.

This is for "Advanced" level drivers only..!

You can contact Mark at Feffman@MVPTracktime.com

Or...

314-249-3770 by phone

It's not cheap though ....$1375.00 for three days....

But, I can tell you by personal experience, this F-1 track is like no other track in the 18+ tracks across the US that I have been to....!

Its a "Bucket List" thing for any Track nut....IMO

And if we were not coming back from the Daytona race at that time I would sign up. Hopefully there will be another event later in the year. Thanks for posting.

* UPDATE NOTICE*

The event dates have been changed to 2/7-9

No reason, very typical of a C.O.T.A public relations...

Richard and I were part of the first amateur drivers group on COTA last January and can attest first hand that it is truly a bucket list track to drive. So much fun but beware you will be exhausted at the end of the day after working on 23 turns each lap! We would sign up but we're skiing Heavenly that week.

As they say - JUST DOOO IIITTT!!

Sounds good.
There are 3 Vipers in our group. The Michelin ACRX #50, my ACRX clone and a Laguna Seca edition ACR.

What run group are you guys in? We are in the "yellow" group.

FWIW....
We are in the low number garages. Stop by or I'm sure we will see you...

Anybody else....?

We will be in the "learners" category :) Red run group. Look forward to meeting you folks. I've seen lots of your vids. I am using Mike Skeens vid from last year to learn the lines/gearing at CoTA.

We are all "learners" in my opinion....

I have seen the Mike Skeens video also. Good choice...

I am working with a well known suspension tuner/expert and accomplished driver named Erik Messley from California. He is going to be tuning my suspension and coaching me "in car" while on track at COTA.
In addition, we will be studying the video/data in between sessions on the TV in the trailer.

FWIW.... You guys are more than welcome to hang out, watch the vids and listen in....

Just have a couple of details left to take care of before COTA.

Nothing big,...... just an engine.....:witless:

Just got the forged pistons/rods and new cam today....
