I did about 20 laps (40mi) on mine Thursday. Tires stick like glue. it was cool and I did not exceed 5000 RPM. I think tire wear will be very high, maybe about 200 track miles depending on pace, chassis set up and temps. I set all the shock settings on "5" and ran tire 34f and 31 rear - hot. No other changes. I can assure all that this car, when fully set up, will be unapproachable by any other production car under $1 mil. Best, Allan

Alan, thanks for keeping us posted. I'm chomping at the bits to see mine, let alone track it. I'm going to actually take the time to properly break this engine in, so it's going to be painful not being able to let 'er loose right away.

If your guess is correct that tire wear is only about 200 miles, I suspect based on a very loose average you're only looking at maybe two DE weekends, 6-7 sessions? If so, that's HORRIBLE for these tires?? Grip maybe good, but geez that means we'll be swapping tires a LOT.

May have to scratch the OEM thing and work w/ Forgeline, post haste to get something to fit Hoosiers ASAP.

Maybe Chrysler's intent by putting those Khumo tires on the ACR was not your wallet or longevity, but more like finally getting some official great numbers at the track to post in mags and the net.
Just remember how so many here were bitching about having the Corsas while the ZR1 had the unfair advantage of running Mich PSC 2.

I want to get some PB lap times on he Khumo's to see what they are capable of (for me) on my home track. Next i'll try the R7s. It's getting cool here and wet. This is not a good time for testing tires. In addition, I haven't even touched all the chassis adjustment options yet so, a lot to learn. Best, Allan

That track must be pretty rough. I did 4 20 minute sessions in mine and the tires still have plenty of tread depth. I would run these at least 2 more track days.

I'm not an Apple guy. My iPad was a gift and I really do like it. But otherwise I am PC and have noticed that occasionally ipad rotates the pics. No rhyme or reason to it either. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. The PC does not. And I have heard that people have had issues with iPhones too.

Though as far as storing them sideways, have you ever seen at barret jackson when they auction the boat/car combo? Often it's a big bad ass catamaran and it has to go on the trailer sideways because it is so wide. Look up the matching corvette and corvette boat from about 5 years ago and you will see what I mean.

Yes we did meet on that run. Glad to see you adding some more Vipers into the collection.

I though that was an international, not a freightliner. My mistake. Must make short work of your trailer though.

I may be out there next time my buddy is out there with NASA. I will be at arroyo Seca in January with my Tucson car club as we have it rented out for the weekend.
