Stryker Orange Extreme ACR has arrived!

Hi all,

A reliable hauler rolled up to Normandin Dodge with 3 winged beasts in the back, owned by V10Lee, Darius and yours truly. You probably saw Lee's thread about his gorgeous Competition Blue Extreme, here are a few shots of mine. Unfortunately it was dark and I didn't get a chance to take any in the sunlight. I am having GTS carbon fiber stripes and clear wrap installed on it now, then I'll break it in, lower it, corner weight and align it, and install the diffuser extensions and splitter. This is primarily a track car, so no compromises will be made for the street. A bunch of us will be tracking at Laguna Seca Nov 27, which will be my ACR's maiden voyage. Darius will be hitting the track Nov 2 in his ACR, so you should hear some initial impressions and lap times soon!

Wow amazing bro! That color really pops. I can't wait to see it after the shop puts on the stripes. A big congrats to you and Darius. I'm going to try and run the Nov. 2 track day with Darius. I'm on the waiting list, but he's going to help me get in. So should be cool. Sorry I can't make it to the 27 event.

There's a common theme in this thread, and it's that it's hard to pick a favorite color. They came up with some amazing combos.

The Stryker Orange is just what I was looking for- darker, warmer and richer than most oranges I've seen, approaching Stryker Red. However with the stryker paint, it pops. I still haven't seen it in the sunlight, the wait is killing me!

I almost ordered the GTS-R Blue with white GTS stripes as Darius did, and seeing the two of them I honestly don't know which one I like more. It's amazing. His car came out of the trailer with just enough sunlight to see how gorgeous that dark metallic blue is with the contrasting stripes. Wow. It did convince me of one thing- I want to see what GTS stripes look like on the Stryker Orange. The ACR feels like it needs stripes. Maurice suggested I try carbon fiber stripes, so they are going on this week.

Competition Blue is an absolute winner too, Lee is a lucky guy. My lady and I enjoyed hanging out with the Chrysler guys in Lake Tahoe where they brought one of the factory pilot ACRs. Maurice took this shot because he knew how much I liked it. Funny thing is, I posted it on Facebook and got about 100 congrats on my new car, lol. Most of them don't know that mine is Orange, haha...

Congrats Todd! That paint looks insane in the pics and I'm sure 100x better in person! ....so sweet! I don't think you can go wrong with any color as we've all mentioned time and again. Fantastic color. It reminds of the McLaren P1 orange.

I tracked with a bunch of McLarens at Sears Point, and they had a P1 in red (a lot like Stryker Red) and also an MP4-12C in orange (also like Stryker Orange!). Seeing that car was one of the reasons I chose my color. Vipers and McLarens have some of the most beautiful color palettes out there.

Gotta say, it's pretty cool to know that almost all of the Gen V Vipers that my local dealer sold are to track rats. When I first bought my Viper, it was hard to find guys that wanted to track. Not any more- four of my immediate circle ordered ACRs the morning ordering opened! We are definitely enjoying life.

Fik Dam! Gorgeous! Be careful about the exhaust if you're tracking at Laguna Seca - they have strict sound restrictions.
