So I have a good friend who also happens to be my Viper tech. Marine Corps veteran, car guy, gun guy, the kind of guy who will show up at any time to help you out. He has been a member of the Viper community since the beginning, serving as Viper tech for Orisman Dodge here since 1992. When Dodge contracted and the dealership closed, he continued to serve the local Viper guys by working as a diesel fleet mechanic during the day and working on Vipers during his free time. He has a wife and a young daughter as well.
Last Sunday he took his boat out to watch a local boat racing event. I was actually supposed to be with him but other things came up. On his way back home his boat apparently hit a freak wave and he was thrown forward and sustained a significant head injury. He is still in the ICU. He will likely be looking at several months of rehab after he gets out of the hospital. I've started a GoFundMe page to help his wife and daughter with expenses. Any help anybody wants to give would be great. Feel free to spread the word.
