Hi Folks,
I have a 1997 RT-10 and I am looking for a top Viper tech in the New England Area.
I bought the car from Dan Fitzgerald in Laconia, NH and after he retired I started bringing it to Steve Heitz (One of Dan's techs).
I recently tried to call Steve and the phone number had been disconnected.
Doesn't anybody know if Steve is still in business or can anybody recommend a Viper Tech in the New England area?
I am in the Boston area but i'm looking anywhere in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut.
Thanks!

What do you need done? Depending on what it is, happy to send you to a few different people, depending..remember, just because they are a Viper "Tech" doesn't know they have done much on a Viper. When was the last time one actually saw let alone worked on a Gen2? If it anything aftermarket, they have zero clue as well.

Long story short, the car has been in the care of someone else for the past couple of years and now that it's back for good, I would like someone to who really knows what they are doing to to give the car a once over and do all of the service that would be necessary after 5 years and 2000 or so miles.
When I got the car back it was running hot and had a local exotic shop (Aston Martin of New England) take a look and do a fluid change but would really prefer someone that knew there way around a Gen II car.
Also I would really like to get ahead of any spare parts that I'm going to need getting MOPAR parts is getting harder and harder.
I know that Steve was amazing and saw to more vipers than most of us have every seen. I've heard Chuck Tator is the man to talk to and I'l give him a call for sure. He's a about 3.5 hours from where I am (Boston Area) which is a bit of a stretch. Of course, that's a pretty good excuse to spend the day hauling around in the snake. :)
I'm still curious if anybody knows if Steve Heitz is in business?
There may be others, but Tator is a guaranteed "done right the first time".
You might do better if you posted this in the New England forum area.
