New Safety Recall

Anyone else get this with USB for 1 time use? Says it is a fix for radio security vulnerability. Who's installed it, notice anything?

Got mine a couple days ago. It's the UConnect recall. My car goes in for service in a couple weeks, I'll have the dealer do it while it's there.

I got one for my Jeep Cherokee. Will probably do it today. It's real simple to update the Uconnect yourself.

Since you posted this on the world wide web...anybody from anywhere can NOW hack into your car and drive it.

Very easy install by the way...took about 15 minutes and it didn't seem to screw anything up.....although I did spin a bearing about 10 days after install
