My TA got some new shoes

As much as I like the Sidewinders, they are a PITA to clean and well...they are OEM. I'm a fan of classic HRE designs, so here are some HRE 546Rs. I'm surprised at how well the 20" wheels fill the rear wheel well. I was looking forward to installing my lowering caps, but I don't think that would be such a good idea anymore.

Nice shoes! You're right about those sidewinders...they take forever to clean if you want to get into all the nooks. I would still be very curious to see how they would look with the caps...I think it would look awesome.

Coming from my last 2 Vipers, this car is 4-wheeling. Who am I kidding...I'll still install the caps, haha.

I bought them 2nd hand, but they are as new as new can be. Fresh powdercoat, new hardware, new tires, and new center caps are en route from HRE.

Really shows off the rotors well , which I think is a really good look!!!

Any Viper is one of the most beautiful cars on the planet. But man an orange TA just pops and just looks extra special. Love the wheels and I'm with KDR83. Paint those calipers orange.

The calipers will be orange soon enough...just waiting on the humidity to drop here in Florida since I had issues painting my calipers on my last car in the middle of October last year.

I ordered new center caps from HRE, which should be here next week. I had photoshopped a few different sets of wheels on my car in different finishes. With all the black accents on the car, I was afraid to go away from black. But I guess I'm also biased, as I've owned 9 sets of aftermarket wheels and 6 of them have been black.

Yes, they rubbed pretty bad at full lock.

Can someone please explain to me why everyone is saying the SW's are hard to clean, my hand + wash mitt = done deal inside and out

Car with those wheels and tires looks great. Question though, are you having any issues with ESC or ABS? Those tires are quite a bit taller than stock. When running taller front tires my TA's ESC was freaking out.
