I just recently bought a 14 TA and I saw this was coming up. I live in PA and this isn't to far from me. I have never done any type of road course racing in the past. One of the reasons I decided to leave the corvette world (1000hp Z06) was to get into road racing. With having no experience, will this be a fun and worthwhile trip? Is there anything I should do to prepare my Viper for this event? I love modding cars, so anything I need to purchase would be fun anyway! My TA has belanger headers, corsa exhaust, and arrow PCM.

You're car is set just being a TA. Perfect event for a novice in the viper or road course trackdays, that way you start learning the right way of doing things on the track, in a viper, but viper track guru's. Other than the obvious, like water, cooler, folding chair, hat, helmet, pressure gauge, duct tape (just because), sorta stuff, I'd say some painters tape or other paint protection. Painters tape can work just fine and you can go crazy with it if you like. Also good is tracwrap, although it seems back ordered lately, or EZShield, that sort of thing, just to have a little peace of mind for paint damage. I'm 50% on this one, so may be there but I'd need to trailer up so ... Enjoy.

Awesome. Thanks for the feedback. I was looking at that Trac Wrap and others. I will need something for sure. I do have the xpel wrap but I would want more of course for that kind of driving. I am looking forward to this.

Congrats on the new TA. I'm about 1 hour south of PittRace. How far are you?

Oh and thanks, yea I love this TA! I picked it up from another forum member, Gonabite. Nicest person I have ever bought a car from, seriously.
