Yes, probably the lowest production number roadster...

Very rare as I understand it.

Good luck!

Only 53 built. Good luck. I hope you find your Viper RT/10 B/W. The car posted in Germany looks to be a 1998 with a re-paint. B/W RT/10s came with the blue steering wheel rim, shift knob and parking brake handle.

any real reason not to paint or wrap a 97 RT if you want the look? I understand wanting the car because of its rarity but if it is the look one is after, why not make the look happen? I don't see it dramatically hurting resale like painting a 96 GTS red would do or painting an original 92 blue.

Personally, if it is the look you want, I would find a good car, even an 02 (why not?) and have a quality wrap put on if you are reticent to repaint for value reasons or cost of a color change re-spray.

But if it's the rare factor you are after, good luck. Beating the bushes like this will hopefully stir one up for you.

I think the interior was completely changed by Startech, that's why it does not have a blue steering wheel etc. Also, the '98 RT/10 came with the NACA hood whereas '97 RT/10 still had the smooth hood. Therefore, I believe it is a '97 modelyear. But it is definitively far away from being stock...

I wonder if the German car, though built in '97, was first registered in '98, and thus the title says '98. It sometimes happens here, though it's not very common with modern 17 digit VINs.

Yes, happens here as well. Many people mix up these 2 dates...
