Can anyone give me any recommendation for a Dodge/SRT dealer in Orange County area (Southern California)? Looking to have some warranty work done on my Gen V Viper. Any recommendation is much appreciated.

I have my '14 GTS serviced at Huntington Beach Dodge. They have a good Viper Tech (or 2?). My service adviser is Dean Rutherford.

Just FYI, in my experience you will have the best results if you create a clear understanding of what will and will not be done during the appointment and when the work will be conducted. Also, I do not have them wash my car, although they would probably do a good job. Given the special parameters of the car, I just find it easier to wash it myself most of the time.

My car was purchased at Orange Coast Dodge (and the previous Viper as well). They would probably also do an good job and should have a Viper tech. HB Dodge is just closer to me.

Good viper techs are worth more than money. I always bring mine a small gift when I bring the car in. It goes a long way. You hear some horror stories on here of supposed techs not even knowing how to open the hood. If you have a good one, show them you appreciate their work and attention to your wishes.

Hey SRZ,

You might get a better response by posting on the SoCal forum than here, a lot of those guys don't post here... http://socalviper.com/forum/

Can't help you with OC dealers, but the best so far for me has been MVLA , near Staples Center... http://www.motorvillagela.com/ (http://www.motorvillagela.com/srt-viper.htm)
Also I've been really happy with Dan Cragin, he is in Alhambra. Dan has been working on Vipers since 1992. https://www.specialtyperformanceteam.com/shop/pc/home.asp I have no idea if he can still do warranty work.

To me, either of those are worth the 2 hour drive from Ventura county for Viper Techs.

Plus you get a 2 hour drive in the Viper. I took the Viper to phoenix the other day when I had to be up there just cause I wanted to dammit. 2 hours isn't as bad ride in a viper. Especially gen V. How far do you go in two hours in the LA/Orange county area? 12-15 miles maybe?

Best Viper tech is Dan Cragin at SPT in Alhambra.

I checked with Dan he can't do warranty work. Which is really a shame, because he does such a great job

Would you trust them for a R29 job?
