I downloaded the update to stop someone from hacking my car. My 2015 challenger Hellcat immediately took the update on the first try and worked great. I was driving the car today with the navigation screen showing and it rebooted twice? I also got a reboot with an active address I putted in the screen.

I just bought a 2014 Dodge Viper GTS, and the dealer, not me did the update, for the hack, and the viper navigation screen rebooted as well 3 or 4 times in a 30 minute drive.

Neither car rebooted BEFORE the update, and I know both cars don't have faulty or loose wiring. I did one update, the dealer did the second one...

Anyone else? Can someone drive with navigation screen showing and see if it does it? Thank you for your help.

Mine just started doing it this weekend. I did the update almost one month ago, and have probably put 1500 miles since then. I wonder what is going on to cause this, but it's going to the dealer anyway today. Hope they figure it out.

Please keep us posted. Both my Dodges are doing it. There's another hellcat on the hellcat forums too doing it.

Interesting, thanks for posting I was going to do this for the upcoming weekend, I'll wait til this is figured out, seems likelihood of a super annoying issues is way higher than someone randomly hacking my car for now. I have 3 Jeep/Dodges to update so that would be annoying times 3.

I don't think it is update related, it is looking like more of a network issue. On the VOA FB, most are reporting that it started this weekend, and so far with a Hellcat, Viper, and Ram truck.

Yea, just saw that. I drove the Viper this weekend but no wonky business on the screen, but didn't use my GPS either though.

I have not done the update on my 2013 Ram and it started doing it late last week. I drive 800-1,200 miles a week in it and use the GPS a lot. It did it probably a half dozen times Thursday and Friday and it had never done it before so it doesn't seem to me like it's update related. I'll be at the dealer this week for an oil change and I'll have them check it out and report back what they say.

Guys this is the "Navigation Hunger Games- Catching Fire!" I'm so glad it's not just me, it's actually Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Chrysler FCA problem!

Dropped the car off yesterday, and thankfully the navigation system acted up while he was in the car, to verify the concern. He hadn't heard anything about it yet, but I figure he will get more customers calling in the next few days.

SADVIPER, I had an error with a code a while back, while trying to start the performance apps, just turned the car off/on and it was normal.

Just received in the US mail a Safety Recall notice that includes a chip to up grade my radio system. The part #68306883 is printed on card that comes with it and its for a one time use only.It comes with a software update instruction manual and I have not installed as of yet. Has anyone else received one of these??

Interesting.... I was out on Saturday and the Nav restarted itself 4-5+ times from about 9am-noon. On my
return trip (lets call it 1:30-330) it was perfect. At one point it seemed to even lock-up where the map would
keep movning but I could not cancel the current navigation nor + or - the screen. (very strange)

Probably for the uConnect hack. I'll check the mail today to see if I got it.

Malu, we updated the software and removed all error codes and still unable to use the performance dashboard for more than two months! The car is outside the states and I hope that is not the cause.

Me too. Update on August 16th and this issue happens the day before yesterday. The background of the navi became black first and then it rebooted.

I drove mine around a bit yesterday and didn't have any issues with the nav, hopefully it was just a network issue over the past few days?

I did the update two weeks ago but just noticed issues this past weekend......another vote for network issues.

I had a reset yesterday but it was on my Ram with Uconnect and Nav... it has not had the update, but the "Navigation Activation" screen was shown for a time before function returned. Also the Satellite channel lineup updated as well. It seems Harmon / Uconnect did a downlink to send now subscription data which forces the reset.

So far my wife's new Chrysler 200C has been fine after updating a day after bring it home. Her car is loaded with every option and I must say the adaptive cruise is really nice. It sure reduces stress in stop and go traffic..... now I need to get my viper out, put top down and further reduce my stress

Considering I have not performed the uConnect update, I'm thinking it was network/host system related during Sunday morning. (?)

Had this exact problem, nav reset 50 times and froze 5-6 times on a 500 mile trip Sunday. Since I have some radio issues too, the car is going in next week to get checked out just in case.

So far so good on my 14, I had the update about 3 weeks ago.

Use my navigation for a 500 mile road trip in recent two days and there's no reboot phenomenon anymore. Might just be the network issue.

My dealer said there were issues with the intial patch that was released. They recommened that I wait until it got revised/fixed. I had the patch installed a couple weeks ago and no issues since.

My SRT Jeep was geeking out on me last week, haven't driven it since. Been at COTA. My '15 TA2.0 has not geeked out on me yet.

was downtown using gps and every 5 minutes it would go blank and reboot, missed the damn place twice before I just used my phone gps
