Tire and ride height question

I am thinking of changing my tires out to the Kumho V720 that are on the new ACR, and would like to lower it, I run the car in autocross and plan to track it this fall.
Should I lower it? will I have a rub issue?
What is the best way to lower the car, spring caps, new springs, both?
Like to get rid of the wheel well gap.
Any input from you track rats out there would be great.

If you change to adjustable shocks like MCS, you will have improved tack performance and as a side benefit you can adjust the ride height.
