Long Island Meet - Date Change to Tuesday, 9/15?

Hey All,

Just checking the waters to see if any of you LI'ers want to have a Viper Meet up on Thursday, September 10th at Republic Airport Shopping Center in Farmingdale? 7pm

I know that there are a bunch of you looking to get those V10's out and roaring.

We could hang out for a bit and perhaps take a cruise around the North Shore.

Let me know if you're interested. I'm open to other spots as well; just figured Farmingdale was somewhat central to most. We could also do some dinner and then a cruise if interested.

Of course other surrounding areas are welcome as well.

I actually ran into the Red Gen 2 I've been seeing today. He's had it since 02 and it's a 97 Red GTS Hennessy. He doesn't drive it all that much. However, he was very willing to come meet up with us for this meet.

I think we're going to have a pretty good turnout.

Unfortunately, I think the change of dates threw everyone off. A lot of people reconfirmed the week before, but didn't show.

It ended up being 4 of us. I actually didn't take any pictures for once.

The venue ended up being a little awkward; there were like 30 high school / College aged kids there with their rice mobiles. They took over the whole lot and we were just there chatting amongst ourselves. They weren't jerks or anything; some came over and politely asked if they could take pictures. But it was just weird with the blasting radios and the fart cannon revving.

I'll set up another date soon for another location. Stay tuned.

Maybe a Maureen's kitchen cruise. Start at the visitor center on the southern state before exit 15.. Either Sunday or Monday morning... What do u think??

We can hit the Americana de elegance car show on way back in Manhasset if
any one is interested.

What is the time frame of that show? Might be better off hitting a diner more westerly and then going to this show.

It's 8:30am till 2:00pm..we will have plenty of time to hit it after.. Registration is closed
For it and u have to have a car worth over $500k to even be in it.

Ok, I'll start a new thread to gather some interest and send out some texts. Let's say 8:30/45 at 15A and leave there by 9am to head to Maureen's.

Richard, I believe Tator is having the Tech Session next Saturday if you want to take a cruise up.
