Hello all,
First time Viper owner here. Came out of a 2012 GT500 and had my mind set on a Vette until I came across this leftover new 2013 GTS at an irresistible price. Wow am I glad I waited! This Gen V is simply a different class of car from anything I have ever driven before. Everything from the exhaust note to the interior to the gawkers on the highway screams exotic. Despite the "Viper reputation" I find it easier to drive fast than the Shelby ever was, and the only difficult thing is keeping the right foot somewhat in check until I get through the break in miles...
We actually bought it a couple weeks ago and have been to a few car shows/cruise nights here in NW Indiana, and while it is refreshing to be 1 of 2 Vipers at most compared to 50 Corvettes and Mustangs, I'm hoping there are some events locally where we can meet some fellow owners and get involved in the community.
