First off, I am not complaining. I do not miss it at all!!
But I would like to confirm that others cars are doing the same:
After the latest Uconnect update, the skip-shift function on my car is no longer present/functioning!!
I have even intentionally tried to trigger it and have been unsuccessful.
Anyone else?
**update** I let a friend drive the car and the skip-shift feature is still present...:slap:
I think I am caught up on updates and I still have it......do you know what update you had done that eliminated it?

I thought skip shift was controlled by PCM, not Uconnect? Do you have Arrow PCM (they eliminated it)?

It is most definitely controlled by the PCM.

Now I am confused...I have not had any dealer reflashes of the PCM, only the latest Uconnect update. This is odd...

Maybe you're just subconsciously shifting the car where God intended, above 2,000 rpm every time? In 2.5 years and 16k miles I've never run into the skip shift (and now never will with the Arrow PCM).

^^^ this. When I had it on the stock PCM I almost never encountered it. I think only one time that I can recall. It was much more invasive on my Vettes.

I let a friend drive a car and the skip-shift is still there.
I must be subconsciously avoiding it. My bad, sorry for the bad information.

I think the only time I ever hit the skip shift was when I was starting off in a long line of slow moving traffic.

Occasionally I see the indicator in slow traffic take offs like darbgnik said. But I usually just see the indicator for a moment and don't try and shift till later anyway.
And I feel like I will see it come on while easing through parking lot.
But I do t think it keeps me out of second much, if it all.

I hit it a few times including this am. It is mostly when I am in traffic or trying to be a bit stealthy...ie cops sitting at a light near me etc.

It does seem that the skip-shift has narrower parameters for my 2015 than 2013. When I first bought my 2015, I thought it was gone as well since I used to encounter it all the time in my 2013. It's still there but rarely rears it head, much better than my last one.
