Hey guys... heading to the dyno on Friday afternoon and thought I'd have some fun seeing what people think I'll put down. Full (relevant) mods:

EDIT: Pulling on a DynoJet BTW, not a MustangDyno...

2010 GTS
- Bellanger Headers
- Bellanger Cat'd Exhaust
- Mopar Stage 1 PCM
- Arrow forged pistons +.005
- ACR-X rods
- Arrow coated bearings
- Arrow rebuild... not a mod, but some have claimed better performance after the rebuild regardless of upgraded internals...

Post up your guesses and I'll update on Friday (late) afternoon with official numbers...

Dayum.... down to the 10th... LOL! I badly want to hit that 600 mark, but think it'll be close. Wishing you luck on your guess! ;-)

Maybe if he pulls a couple of plug wires prior to the pull.

580 rwhp since it looks like full exhaust and tune. While the built bottom end is very nice, I don't think you'll see any gains. No K&N filter?

Nope... stock airbox and all... Regarding the internals, the oversized pistons and forged lifters should be worth a few extra, but I guess I'll find out soon enough. That'll probably be the "make it or break it" for getting close to the 600rwhp mark.

The "make it or break it" might be IAT! There's still time to get an intake heat shield to you!!

Looking forward to your results, keep us posted.

Yeah, I don't think I've ever seen anybody dyno with a similar setup on a gen 4. Hopefully I'm wrong and you crack 600. Looking forward to the numbers.

Ported intake???

No; 580/595 hp 555/565 trq, conservative/liberal dyno

yes, 590/610hp 565/580 trq

Good luck, with that venom ECU try to get the octane to 95 for best results.

Hey Doug... want to get a base power measurement on the car as I got it and then have plans for Gen5 intake, UD Pulley, updated Arrow tune, and maybe some others if the pocketbook allows, over winter. Definitely a nice looking piece with great results on IAT's, so it's up there on the list too.

Stock intake... for now. ;-)

Maybe I'll try to find some 100 octane around and fill up a bit before heading to the dyno. Kinda padding numbers a bit, but that's what I would do for the track anyhow, so...

Sounds like a good plan. All good bang for the buck and fairly easy to install mods.

Silly question: are the Arrow Pistons high compression?

No, I believe thee stock compression is still the same...

Whoops, I thought this was a Gen 3. In this case I'll say 575 rwhp and 545 rwtq.

Anxious to see the numbers as I just had ran a dynojet with my gen 3 and have a freshly rebuilt motor, tune, bellanger headers, belanger ehaust, intake, etc...

What kind of numbers did you put down, if you don't mind me asking?

I don't know what the drive train loss is. Your mods get maybe +10% at the crank. Is the operator compensating for temperature? Who knows.
After all said...

I will grab the print outs from home and let you know. Needless to say I was VERY disappointed. I want to say something around 420 rwhp, but let me check the graphs and get back to you.

Depends on; Dynojet, Mustang, or L&S? Density altitude at time of pull? Conditions in general?

Its a 600whp+ car.

I would have guessed 580 RWHP since he doesn't have a ported Gen 4 intake manifold (or a non-ported Gen 5), but the Arrow rebuilds seemed to run stronger. Maybe I'm being overly generous by saying 20 RWHP stronger, but I guess we'll know soon enough.

That is exactly why I'm thinking I may be able to hit the 600 mark even with the stock Gen4 intake... Should find out about this time tomorrow... ;-)

Are you running the oem head gaskets or the thinner ones for more compression. If you do a real dyno tune it will hit the 600 range with out 570-580

I believe the stock gaskets... I was told even with the +.005 forged pistons and longer rods that compression ratio stayed the same.

I need to find one of those around here...

This is how I found it... had 2 locations in the area. Called the first one to verify and they didn't carry it anymore, but the 2nd one did, so make sure you call before heading over if it's out of the way...
