Gen 2 Diffuser Blade Interest

I have been getting sporadic emails regarding my diffuser blade setup. It has been out of production for a bit but if there is enough interest I can always bring them back. I would need a minimum of 5 preorders to produce another batch. Here is all the information on the blades. Pricing will be slightly higher than before due to powder coating costs. This setup is designed to bring the gen 3 & 4 look to the gen 2 with minimal modification to the rear bumper. 1 hole is required per blade and it is an extremely small hole. Each kit include aluminum braces that you place inside the bumper to stiffen the blades up. Mounting hardware is not included due to the 50,000 different types you can use for the set from rivets to traditional trim screws.

RT Serpent is on the fence. Arhim picked up a set of mine from someone else who was unable to use them due to their driveway being low.

I currently don't offer them in carbon fiber due to the cost. Making the molds alone was over 1k and truthfully the benefits of going CF over lightweight aluminum for such small pieces are almost none. It just didn't make sense. A couple customers covered them with carbon fiber overlays and they looked awesome.

I will purchase the remaining 1 or 2 sets, but I would like you to purchase a bixenon projector kit. I have 5 kits left and would like to find them a good home inside a fellow viper. Then I will hold my diffuser blade sets for kngsnke, and he or I can sell the two sets I own the next time an individual comes around looking for a blade set and we have this minimum buy problem again. This minimum buy issue is the same problem I have, which I put the money in up front and is why I'm looking to finally sell my final sets of projectors.

In fact with the overall limited aftermarket with all vipers I would think supportive would be a better thought which I have been met with about 95 percent of the time.

On a side note I am currently on the governments time at least for the next year or more due to deployment and transferring again. Due to my hectic schedule and deployment status I will be unable to produce another batch of blades. Additionally depending where my next set of orders take me I may be selling the car, only time will tell. Seems pointless to store it for 3 years plus I have another kid on the way.

It's not "how I feel", it is the rules of this club (forum) far as I can tell. Lot's of other vendors offer products, yet "don't make a living selling parts" here. They still pay to sell parts and/or services here. Why should you or anyone else be any different.? Not being a paying member is no biggie to me, but selling parts and not being held to the same rules as the vendors that DO pay to be here and sell/advertise is.

As a matter of fact, the club officers posting in this thread, encouraging you to sell/make more, are also being disrespectful to the vendors that support this club.

Kng snake I agree about there is a difference between full business and a guy with the capability of making something out of his garage and selling it for a good price to members. I have done the same for years, I made sliders for suzuki katanas. Was only selling few here and there so I did make much. More for a affordable option for others in the group. I would have to agree with shooter on the fact that you would think that you would be at least be a club member to sell them here (respect thing) but not have to pay vendor/sponsor fees.

I think some of the issues of people not joining includes the fact that this club was formed from the previous one, and there's still an "uncomfortable feeling" about it. Not saying the leadership here is bad or the same, but there's still some relation there.

Second is the return from what you get from your paid dues. If for the most part you don't get a chance to join the local chapter, then what are you really paying for in terms of what you get? While I met some fantastic people in my local chapter and they were very welcoming, not getting a chance to join the local events due to work and personal items meant I pretty much paid for some really expensive magazines. Some of which came a year late.

I wasn't going to benefit from it, I was just going to do the legwork since everything is close to me and kngsnke is a nice guy. And I expect that at some point in time in this life a favor can be called-in/returned from blade buyers.

Those are nice and the price is right.....I just got my Diffusers from Jiri and installed them a couple days ago..40 minutes work and everything fit perfect...he makes them for rear and side exhaust...I like the looks of the blades getting smaller as they go to the outside,if you have side exhaust you can get 8 blades...getting the gills next

Also there is no mounting hardware included due to people's various tastes on how they want to mount them (I used automotive trim screws, some used rivets). My setup requires you to make 1 small hole per blade. It looks like his outward set still utilizes the stock bumper cover bolts and he made the 1 hole for each blade from what I can tell.

There have been some questions regarding hardware. You use your stock bolts for one hole on each blade, for the second hole you will need to purchase your own hardware. I recommend autozone trim screws. The diffuser blade kits include the blades ordered and the metal bracing for the inside of the bumper.

I honestly haven't looked under a Gen V to see how it looks there. I have one customer who installed them on their Lexus so it just depends on how the bumper is shaped. They aren't Viper specific though.

On a side note, are you the Austin I knew from before?

Just wanted to thank you again for offering such a quality product (right down to the way it was even packaged - very well done)!

Got the chance to install them yesterday. Your instructions were excellent, and had no problems at all with the installation. Am very happy with the overall look.

I was actually concerned that the blades could not be straightened (i.e., adjusted to be totally vertical) after the installation, but even that wasn't difficult to accomplish.

Looking sharp. Mind if I use those photos? I think I have mind on a slight angle but the tabs are thin enough to bend if you like but thick enough to not flex. On a side note I haven't been a fan of that spoiler from the previous cars I've seen it on but I would like to see more photos of different angles on your car, you have peaked my interest. It actually looks good on the yellow and black with the spoiler being black.

You have posted your photos on the thread already and folks know where to get your setup if they would like to buy it. I am not sure why you are posting it again since I don't sell an 8 blade setup, it is a bit much for my taste and have not had anyone request more than 6.

Thanks, KS. No problem with use of those photos. It shows the great result of all of the work that you put into the design/production of your blades. The photos don't show it very well, but I adjusted all four blades to be perpendicular to the ground (i.e., not angled at all). I like that look better than having a slight angle to them, but the nice thing is that if someone changes their mind, the blades are really easy to adjust later on.

I'll try to send you some pics of the TA spoiler later in the week. Picked them up from Steve at www.autoformgroup.com, and love the way it adds to the natural curves of the GTS, without going overboard (like a huge wing would do, or perhaps an 8 blade setup...lol).

This setup is designed to bring the gen 3 & 4 look to the gen 2 with minimal modification to the rear bumper. 1 hole is required per blade and it is an extremely small hole (about 1/16). Each kit includes aluminum braces that you place inside the bumper to stiffen the blades up. Mounting hardware is not included due to the 50,000 different types you can use for the set from rivets to traditional trim screws.

I have tons of reviews for this product on every major viper forum with 100% customer satisfaction. Below you will find an installation write-up, a walkaround of the blades from my viper, and a link to my photobucket album which has tons of photographs of them installed. The last time I offered these was late 2015 and based on my military orders this year will be the last time for at least 3 years that I can get them produced.
PLEASE NOTE: I do not have final powder coating prices. I have to call my powder coater on Tuesday to see what the cost difference is from 2 years ago. From each batch I get approximately 56 diffuser blades so any combination of 4 or 6 up to a total of 56. If I go above 56 I can make a larger order.

I will update the list as preorders come in. Payment will be via PAYPAL. If enough preorders are received I will put them into production. There will be some delay once produced due to powdercoating, shipping to me, and shipping to you.

My life has been so hectic over the past few years that I've been unable to post on the forums etc. Moved 3 times in 3 years, up for another move the end of this year. Received random emails about these blades, wasn't even sure if my metal guy was still up for doing them. He's good to go and I had a couple quick requests for them so it seems like they will go back into production.
