These look exactly like ones that fit a new Corvette...I think the Viper looks better with the flat material ( looks a little like black milar) that they had on the 1998 GT2 on the front and sides of the car...just my $.02

The side skirt splits the bottom of the car in two parts: one, the underbody which is a region of low pressure and higher air velocity and two, the side of the car, which is a region of relatively higher pressure. Without the side skirt, the air from the side of the car will rush in to the underbody due to pressure difference causing a reduction in downforce. The presence of the side skirt prevents this from happening by behaving as a simple blockage. In sports cars, it is a great way to improve downforce levels.
Just something I found online but think of them as a fence keeping the high pressure air around the car from going under the car at high speed reducing downforce

I personally have never liked the way the straight skirts looked, you have a car with curves everywhere why would you put a 1X4 on the side? and with the side exhaust you really don't want to blast the carbon fiber with hot exhaust if you can avoid it also by curving it in where I do you don't have to be careful not to step on them

If I had any of the aero packages on my car, I would do this. On a lowered car with a splitter and dive planes and a spoiler or wing out back, this along with a rear diffuser would be the final touch. Love the irregular shape... Very nice !

I personally would add clear film to these for protection.

Yes, we have a few BETA sets we will be high speed testing this month. We have an onlay bezel that adheres to the top rim/edge of the OEM vent inserts and are still perfecting a replacement , outer ring bezel. The recessed area of the GTS hood vent rings is vastly different than the SRT hood ones. I hope we will have something ready to release to the public within the month
