I dont like to drag the viper, I only ran the Viper twice VOI which track prep was horrible and my tires sucked (2007s) the car is setup for road course, Motons that are very stiff, lowered, plus the wing and splitter.

track was PACKED, got there at 10am got right in the staging lanes, didn't get my first tun till 11:30am, second at 1:30. i decided to call it a day, was getting very hungry and it was very hot there, and the 2 hour between runs sucked.

'off the trailer' even though i drove it there:

60' - 1.907
330 - 5.285
1/8 - 7.834 @ 93.50
1000- 10.110
1/4 - 12.019 @ 118.22

that was with the front splitter and rear wing on the car. we pulled the wing off for the next run, which was 2 hours later.. ugh.

60' - 1.882
330 - 5.146
1/8 - 7.767 @ 94.72
1000 - 10.192
1/4 - 12.546 @ 95.25 (missed the shift into 4th)

car has more in it for sure with more time i can go mid 11s, I just have no desire to do it, i like road racing too much.

yes that was a Gen 4 in the right lane of second video, ran 11.4. the SRT in the first video ran a 13.1.

this was at the track also, modern 426 crate motor with a turbo on it, racing a new C7 Stingray

What gears do you have in it. I can usually get through the traps wound out in 3rd with the stock gears.

not sure, was in it when i got the car. i did a rotational count and its somewhere between 3.5x - 3.7x but hard to tell when just rotating the assembly.

It also looks like yours gets off the line much better. What rpm were you launching at?

bout 2500, track was hooking up really well, my tires are less than a year old too. just sliding out the clutch and rolling on the power.

If i had to guess i would say you have 3.73 gears out back.

anyone know what gears Mopar Performance diff was? mine has the holes drilled and tapped for the oil cooler which makes me think it was the diff from the catalog.

BUt you get better times if you stay in the torque range shifting at 5500 or so:
