Hello,

I purchased a 2014 Dodge Viper GTS from the United States and shipped it to my country Saudi Arabia. I've been trying to use the features (SRT apps etc) on my screen but wasn't able to due to not having a Uconnect susbscibtion and not being in the United States. I would also like to convert my Radio to our frequency module which takes even numbers such as 102.0 instead of odd numbers 102.1 on FM... My dealer told me that there wasn't anything he can do to fix my situation.

BTW, I can't pay for this service online as I'm not in the US.

What can I do to solve this issue?

You would need to replace the Radio Headunit with one for your market... it will then have NAV for your country as well. The sales code is RJ4 for the middle east model... I think the part number should be 68224532AI

Your dealers should be able to order it... it will then have the right tuner, and won't require cell service to work.

So the only way I can fix this is by buying a new headunit? no work-around :(

The dealer was not helpful at all, I spoke to three different people and they all just dismissed me when they knew my car was not bought from them.

I checked http://www.dodgeparts.com/part/68224532AI and it lists it at 2k $ :z:

Try rebooting the system. All you do is press both radio knobs at the same time for about 5-10 seconds. I know it worked for a 2014 jeep srt that went from the US to Brazil. This might fix the srt pages but not the frequency thing.
